Pale red earthenware, tin-glazed on both sides. Painted in blue, green, yellow, orange, and manganese. Three-sided with most of a circular footring. Most of a coat-of-arms with mantling and crest of a close helmet. The oval shield is charged party per pale.
History note: Probably found near the Duomo in Orvieto, where purchased by the donor, R.C. Bosanquet
