Description

Fragment of the centre of a dish on low foot (coppa). Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed overall. Painted in very dark blue, blue, pale blue, yellow, and pale yellowish-brown.
Irregularly-shaped fragment of the central area with about two-thirds of the sloping foot.
Part of the bust and head of a girl up to her lips, in profile to right, against a blue background. On the underside in the middle, in blue, and on the underside of the dish, the ends of crosses.
