Arranged in five vertical columns. Described from top to bottom, left to right. Column 1: woman's head, looking right; full-face study of a royal lady's head; male figure in profile to right, a knight's helmet suspended by chord from neck rests on his back; head in profile to right, wearing a voluminous cowl; woman's head, three-quarters to right; full-length countryman in profile to left; woman's head wearing dagged hennin. Column 2: soldier with shield, three-quarters face to right; man with short hair kneeling; warrior with raised club and spiked shield; woman's head turned to left; full-length study of a soldier from behind, turned slightly to right. Column 3: armoured soldier in act of cocking crossbow with winch; full-face female figure, head and shoulders, wearing veil; over tunic; two brushes in each case inscribed as such. Column 4: two military costumes, the left inscribed 'English', the right 'French'. To the right, an inscription 'German same with a chain and dagger to the neck'. Helmeted head inscribed '1347; three-quarter length near frontal study of a knight in armour, inscribed 'German knight 1370'. Armoured foot with spur.
