Note

"Of this book, six hundred and sixty copies only have been printed ... The text has been set in Caslon Old Face at the Temple Press, Letchworth, and printed by Hague & Gill, at Piggotts, High Wycombe. The six collotype plates from drawings by Whistler have been printed by the Ganymed Press, London. The binding, in hand -marbled boards by Douglas Cockerell & Son, is by the Temple Press. This is number [in ms] 588." Title in ornamental border. Quarter bound in brown cloth with marbled paper sides, gilt fillet; gilt lettering on leather spine label. Top edge of pages gilt - other sides with deckled edges.
