Production date: AD 1958 : Author's portrait, borders and handwriting specimens of the original engraved on wood by Jean de Vingle. "This edition of Arte subtilissima is limited to 200 copies. It has been set in Monotype Centaur. The plates have been reproduced by photo-lithography and the book has been bound and printed by the Lion and Unicorn Press at the Royal College of Art. Designed by Denis Priestley."--Colophon. Museum has no. 165. Quarter bound in black morocco with tan cloth over boards; gilt stamped illustration and lettering on front cover; gilt stamped lettering on spine; top edge of pages in gilt,
