Rectangular elm mirror, with the long sides at the top and bottom. Carved of elm in low relief with foliage and flowers, scrolls and paterae, at top centre the head of Apollo and at bottom centre the sun. Carved along the top at the back 'Designed and carved by A. Palmer' and inscribed in black ink along the bottom 'Theme - The Sun Benefitting Vegetation'
