"Of this edition ... printed on hand-made paper, with decorations designed and cut on wood by Vivien Gribble, 380 copies only, numbered and signed by the artist , have been printed, of which 350 copies are for sale, including not more than 25 copies hand-coloured by the artist." Museum has copy no. 1. Manuscript note by T[homas?] Balston on front end-page: "The frontispiece and wrapper were coloured by Miss Gribble for the 50 /- edition: the other woodcuts were coloured by me." Quarter bound in brown cloth and brown paper sides with hand coloured woodcut on front cover. With dust-jacket bearing same woodcut. "Printed ... at the Cloister Press, Heaton Mersey, Manchester" -- Colophon.
