Note in pencil following title: "by whom it was bequeathed in 1908 to Henry Yates Thompson, who gave it to the Fitzwilliam Museum. Dec 1918."
"Presented to the members of the Roxburghe Club by Sir Thomas Brooke.".

Two letters from Edward Dewick to Sydney Cockerell (dated 4 & & June 1909) tipped. Also newspaper cutting from the Times dated 14th January 1919 concerning the gift of the Metz pontifical to the Fitzwilliam.
