"Of this work a strictly limited edition of 550 copies, numbered in the press, has been published. The copies 1-40 have been printed on special hand made paper and bound by hand in full green morocco in facsimile of the Persian binding shown on plate XXIII and issued as "Edition de Luxe". The hand cut reproductions in these copies have been specially selected from the best proofs. The copies 41 to 550 are printed on special machine made paper and bound by hand."--Colophon. Museum has copy no. 184. Quarter bound in green morocco with brown patterned paper sides.
