Scope note

Use for a variant of the dusting-on process in which the pigment is a vitrifiable powder, available in a wide range of colors, that is fired onto porcelain, earthenware, china, or the like; more broadly, use for any process to form an image on porcelain, china, earthenware, or similar material.
