Gold, the head in the shape of a wreath framing an oval photograph of Prince Albert under glass, the name 'ALBERT' reserved in gold in a blue enamel ribbon beneath. The back inscribed 'To Lord George Lennox/In remembrance/of the/beloved Prince./Decr.14.1861./from V.R.' In original maroon leather case (A) lined with royal blue velvet and silk.
