Maple wood lined with tortoise-shell, with miniature of wicker basket of roses
Maple wood and tortoise-shell set with a miniature in bodycolour on card, mounted under glass in gilt metal. The rectangular box has straight sides and a gilt metal thumbpiece and recessed hinge. The interior is lined in tortoise-shell. The rectangular miniature depicts a wicker basket of pink roses on a marble slab.
