Soft-paste porcelain dish with fluted rim, painted in enamels with exotic birds, and gilded round the edge
Soft-paste porcelain, moulded, glazed, and painted overglaze in blue, green, yellow, purplish-pink, brown, grey, and black enamels, and gilt. The reverse has scattered black speckles. Circular with a wavy edge, sloping rim moulded with spiral fluting, and a deep well. Decorated in the centre with three exotic birds: one large, and one small standing amid foliage, and one small perched in a tree. The edge of the rim is gilded
