Description

Hard-paste porcelain sauceboat, moulded, and painted overglaze in polychrome enamels, and gilt

Hard-paste porcelain sauceboat, moulded and painted in red, brown, yellow, green and lilac enamels. The oval sauceboat has a pinched lip spout and simple scroll handle with beaded thumbpiece. It is painted on either sided with a flower spray surrounded by a moulded floral swag, above a band of moulded stiff leaves around the foot. The rim is edged with a brown line border.
