Silversmith: uncertain
Silver, parcel-gilt; undecorated silver cylindrical sides standing on three ball feet, the low stepped cover engraved with a cipher beneath a coronet within a border of scrolling foliage and flowers
Silver, parcel-gilt, chased and engraved. The undecorated silver cylindrical sides have a silver-gilt border at the top and an applied moulded rim. The three large silver-gilt ball feet are cast with the crowned head of a woman within a wreath of foliage, and are attached to plaques depicting a young Bacchus within a scrolled border which includes cornucopia and flowers . The cover has one low step; in the centre is engraved a cipher beneath a coronet; the border is engraved with scrolling foliage and flowers. The hollow D-shaped handle has an applied silver-gilt border depicting a young Bacchus beneath two cornucopia. It terminates in two clusters of scrolls, and at the top is a large bud-shaped thumbpiece. The interior is gilt.
