Nagasa [length of blade]: blade 21.8cm, tang 7.6cm
Koshirae [mounting]: aikuchi type mounting with black lacquered scabbard with peonies and a butterly in gold makie, the matching fuchi and koiguchi silver with chrysanthemums in sunken relief, signed IKKEI, menuki of long-tailed birds in gilt copper , kaeri-tsuno and kojiri of silver engraved with with peonies and scrolling, two silver kashira with peafowl on rocks set into the scabbard just above the kojiri.
