Description

Round shibuichi tsuba. A shakudo nanten, leaves, gold and shakudo, copper fruit clusters, of a rich muddy brown tint. A shakudo pigeon with a silver head, and copper beak, flying up to the fruit, ukibon. One of the apertures closed by a gold plaque, ishime of small chrysanthemums in regular order. On the other side some rocks and sas gilt. Signature: Sakai Yoshitsugu.
