Description

Iron tsuba. Mokko shape. Several dogs at play, shibuichi and iron with decorated gold zogan. The artists name in gold zogan. On the other side a character in seal script reading? Nantei. Signature: Hinoe tora Tojitsu Kitayn rakusetsu Utsusu (Rakusetsu designed and forged this on a winter day in the year of the tiger). The year of the tiger: 1866-7, 1806-7, 1746-7.
