Single edged blade of finely watered steel forged in one piece with hilt of eloptrical section, decorated with koftgan gold, floral scrolls mimicking processes and mountings with finials; small gilt finial. The hilt faced with red velvet banded with gold-wire ribbons, and with silver gilt mount with ionian dome edging with London hallmark for 1879 and GA mark. Mughal.
