Chalcedony set in gold. Oval with a pin-fastening across the back. The flat, oval chalcedony has a bevelled edge and is held in position by four gold shells. In the centre there is a chased gold oval held in position by pins passing through the stone. The edge of the mount, below the shells is engraved with arrangements of scrolls.
