Description

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 225 x 138 (195 x122) mm, 11 long lines ruled in plummet, 11 four-line musical staves ruled in brown, green, red and black ink.

CONTENTS: Statuit ei Dominus testamentum pacis (Ecl. 45:8), used for the feast of Cathedra Petri (22 Feb.), St Nicolas (6 Dec.) or other holy bishops and confessors.

ORNAMENTATION: Interlaced blue and red initial [S, 6 ll.] with foliage infill on gold ground; red penwork initials [1 – 2 ll.].
