Gold, glass and hair. Oval with a ring for suspension at the top, opening by means of a hinge on one side. Engraved with the initials 'WW' and 'JGH'. Inside two glass-covered compartments containing a lock and a plait of hair.

History note: According to the donor, this locket was purchased to celebrate the engagement of her father and mother.
