Border tile. Off-white earthenware, the upper surface covered with an opaque white slip or glaze, painted in turquoise, green and sealing-wax red and black under a clear glaze. Oblong with bevelled edges. Interlacing stems bearing saz and smaller, smooth-edged leaves and flowers; at each end, half of an arabesque-filled medallion; blue ground. In frame.
