Hybrid hard-paste porcelain painted in gold and pale tan enamel with feathers and scrolls. Pattern 142
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, moulded, painted overglaze in pale tan enamel, and gilded. The cup has a scalloped rim, deep sides reeded on the exterior, a loop handle, and stands on a footring. The circular saucer has curved sides and stands on a footring. The cup is decorated inside with a horizontal gold band a little way below the rim, which is gilded. On the outside at the top it has a border of undulating tan feathers interlaced by an undulating line of gold dots, with a larger spot at alternate junctions with the feather, There is a gold band below, and another round the footring. There are gold lines down both sides of the handles, and a vertical gold line down its back. The saucer has a gold floral spray in the centre, surround by a gold circle, and round the outer edge, a similar border.
