PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, iii modern paper flyleaves + 21 fols. + ii modern paper flyleaves, 145 x 95 mm (100 x 65 mm), 20 long lines, ruled in hardpoint.

BINDING: twentieth century, gold-stamped vellum over wooden boards.

fols. 2r-20v Paphnutius, Life of St Onuphrius, in an anonymous Italian translation, inc. Panutio (sic) humile servo della vostra sanctitate a tutti servi di dio
fol. 21r Prayer of St Onuphrius, inc. Omnipotens sempiterne deus qui beatissimo confessore tuo Onofrio

ORNAMENTATION: Full-page architectural frontispiece with a sarcophagus enclosing the title, I.B. VITA SA[N]CTI ONOFFRII CONFESSORIS M.V.V, and beneath it, COLLONA S. ONOFFRII (fol. 1v).

Ornamental initial [P, 11 ll.] in red, green and yellow, with floral infill and full border in brown ink, tinted in green and red, incorporating an unidentified shield of arms (azure, in chief an eight-pointed star and a crescent gules, in centre a triple mount vert, in base a sun in splendour gules) flanked by the initials T and M (fol. 2r).
