Bone china, moulded with integral reliefs reserved in a pale blue ground, painting in polychrome enamels, and gilding. Elongated oval dish with a wavy edge, and curved sides, standing on an oval footring.
The inside of the dish is decorated with a bulging oval reserve edged in gold and painted in polychrome with purple bindweed and single jilly flower. The border has four raised floral sprays reserved in a pale blue ground, with painted polychrome stems between them, a white-edged poppy, ranunculus, harebell ? and an orange flower. There is a thick gold band round the edge. The base is painted in purple enamel with ‘Purple Bindweed & Single Jilliflower/Spode,2004
