Tortoise-shell with miniature of flowers in a tipped wicker basket with a bird, nest and pomegranate

Tortoise-shell set with a miniature in watercolour and bodycolour on card and varnished, mounted under glass. The circular box has straight sides and a flat pull-off lid with a moulded mount enamelled in blue. The circular miniature depicts a tipped wicker basket of flowers, including roses, iris, hyacinths, and morning glory, beside a pomegranate and a bird on a nest of eggs, all on a marble slab.
