Tortoise-shell with miniature of flowers in a wicker basket and two-handled urn
Tortoise-shell set with a miniature in bodycolour and watercolour on card, mounted under glass in gold. The circular box has straight sides and a slightly domed pull-off lid; the interior is lined with gold and has gold rim mounts. The circular miniature depicts a two-handled urn and a wicker baset of flowers, including roses, delphiniums and morning glory, on a marble slab.
