Note

William Wesley (1763-1845) was the second son of the 1st Earl of Mornington. In 1781, following an inheritance, he changed his name to Wesley-Pole, and in 1789 to Wellesley-Pole .He was known as Lord Maryborough between 1821 and 1842 when he succeeded his brother as 3rd Earl of Mornington. His younger brother was Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington.
