Tortoise-shell with miniature of an urn of flowers; the interior fitted with an automatic dice roller
Tortoise-shell set with a miniature in oil, probably on card, mounted under glass in gilt metal. The circular box has slightly concave sides and an almost flat pull-off lid. The interior is fitted with a white metal automatic dice roller and two ivory dice. The circular miniature depicts a terracotta urn of flowers, including roses, delphiniums, tulips, poppies and auriculas, on the corner of a marble slab.
