Verge watch with rotating scene in gold and enamel case.

MOVEMENT: Dial inscribed 'Louis Breguet'. Plain top plate, with raised edge, covered by gold enamelled plate, two feet. Plate covered with cloisonne enamel, outer dark blue ring above chased pattern, light blue enamel rays to wide zig-zag circle, centre circle of dark blue translucent enamel with star set with pearls, rear counter enamelled. An aperture cut in inner half of light blue circle with 'Souvenir' in gold with light black background. Rotating disc seen through aperture. Gold disc, engine turned. Covered with off-white enamel with polychrome painted enamel of dancing cherubs, a lion and a dog around inside, rear counter enamelled. The disc is attached to the contrate wheel pivot. Turned fusee iron post. Case bolt in slot in pillar plate. Adjustable potance.
Pillar plate with four slightly tapered pillars. Second wheel recessed. Plate with chased edge, recessed under dial. Under dial plain third wheel cock. Plain balance bridge with steel coquette. Brass balance. Recessed toothed regulator and wheel with square through dial. Set-up click stamped '5636'. Fusee and chain, barrel with one lip, set-up click under dial. Verge escapement. Train planted with off set second wheel, contrate wheel in centre of movement, balance under dial.

DIAL: White enamel on copper, three feet, counter enamel inscribed '36'. Regulation circle at top, runs off top, with 'R' and 'A' at sides. Lower time dial with outer circle, bar min. ring, vertical Arabic quarter figures, vertical Arabic chapters, winding hole at 4 o'clock. 'Louis' and 'Breguet' in straight line each side of top of time dial.

HANDS: Gold, time and regulation Breguet type.

CASE: Gold and enamel display. Plain edge with white enamel borders front and back, then blue enamel ring with gold design. Bezel and body with glass. Scratched on body opening '56163'. Pendant with gold and white enamel stripes, top with white and black enamel rings, gold stirrup bow.
