Harp String Box
Domed and tapered rectangular japanned tin string box. 33 slots for strings, string slots have the letter names painted in black and the octaves hand written above them. There is a strip of paper with the string numbers up to 36 stuck on the inside of the lid above the note names. The exterior of the box is black with flowers and gold leaves painted on it. Still contains many strings in numbered waxed paper packets; one is printed 'J. Geo. Morley/Harp Maker'.
