Verge watch in enamelled and chased gold case.
MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Er Lindgren Stockholm No. 295', stamped with crown under Lindgren and 'C' over Stockholm. Balance bridge pierced and chased with polished steel coquette over brass pivot bar. Polished and unsually large steel balance. Silver regulation dial with 'Fort' and 'Sent' at end of scale. Plain blued steel hand. Engraved fusee pivot cock. Engraved foot of counter-potance. Plain un-gilt cock for contrat wheel. Polished steel combined fusee irong and spring, turned stop. Polished steel case bolt in slot in plate, nib under dial. Adjustable potance. Counter-potance with steel end piece, no adjustment screw. Pillar plate with four five-sided baluster pillars. Under dial third and contrate double ended cock, centre recess. Scratch on plate recess '3493', 'Bztqz+', 'BUM' over 'iOl Co' over '12 2/7 12', on edge 'C A Nystro' and '1/4' on joint. Fusee and chain, tangent set-up under barrel, barrel with one lop. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise.
DIAL: White enamel on copper, three feet. Radial 5 minute figures, ladder minute ring, dots at hours, radial Roman chapters, inner circle. Winding hole at 3.30. Counter enamel inscribed 'U'.
HANDS: Gold Louis XV style.
CASE: Gold consular, enamelled and chased. Baroque style decoration with enamel in green, translucent green and painted white. On the back is a chased sun-burst with a parrot on flowers, in painted enamel. The bezel is also chased and enamelled. Diamond case stud. Inside stamped '20K' in shaped block. Maker's mark 'FB' in a rectangle, three crowns against wavey lines in three circles and incuse 'B' (covered by case spring). Pendant with diamond at end, stamped on the side with a five pointed star. Plain stirrup bow.
