Lady's cylinder watch in gold case with ruby and diamond back.

MOVEMENT: Keyless bar movement, not named. Balance cock with polished steel end piece and regulator, ruby end stone, engraved with regulation scale marked 'A' and 'R' at ends. Escape cock jewelled. Fourth wheel cock jewelled. Third and centre bar with third hole jewelled. Barrel bridge with click spring at side. Front plate. Under-dial, push-piece finger, sliding castle, hand set mechanism. Third, fourth and escape jewels. Grained steel balance end piece and end stone. Stamped at edge '11 042' and '6396'. Going barrel. Cylinder escapement with steel wheel and cylinder. Train planted clockwise.

HANDS: Blued steel, spade shaped.

DIAL: Thick silver gilt, engine turned, dotted minute ring, large dots at 5 minutes. Vertical Arabic chapters. Back scratched 'H.F.S' above '11.04'.

CASE: Gold with set ruby and diamonds. Wide plain bezel, double back, plain hinged inner cover, stamped inside '4905'. Snap outer cover made of gold with set lines of pave rubies, with lines of set diamonds between. Pendant cylindrical, stepped, crown oval. Stirrup bow set with pave rubies.
