Verge watch in enamel case, set with pearls and diamonds, with chatelaine en suite.
MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved on barrel bar 'Green and Ward London No. 2432.' Balance cock, table pierced and chased with wheel design, edge cut back for banking, vase at neck, foot engraved, stamped with cross on underside of foot, and '2690' on plate. Polished steel balance, brass banking pin. Slide plate engraved, hand regulation pointer, silver regulation disc, radial Roman figures 1 to 3. Barrel bar, engraved as above. Pierced fusee iron post. Polished steel case bolt, in slot in plate, nib under dial. Potance with moulded end to foot. Rectangular counter-potance. Pillar plate with four turned turned pillars, plain centres. Recessed centre wheel, third wheel brdige. Under dial set-up click, plate stamped '10'. Fusee and chain, winding squares front and back, set-up click under dial, barrel with one lip. Verge escapement. Train planted clockwise.
DIAL: White enamel on copper, counter enamel scratched '5', gilt edge, three feet. Dotted minute ring, asterisk at quarters. Radial Arabic chapters. Winding hole at 6 o'clock with gold ring.
HANDS: Gold with arrow heads.
CASE: Gold and enamel set with brilliants and pearls. Bezel enamelled with rings of white and blue enamel, with ribbon of gold and white enamel dots between. Inside stamped with English Assay Office lion and incuse maker's mark 'IM', also scratch marks '860 sdv/-/-'. Body with border as bezel, having inner white enamel ring. Centre engine turned with orange translucent orange enamel over, centre ring of seventeen set pearls with inner ring of diamonds, with central diamond. Inside body with London HM. 1791 with Duty Mark and maker's mark 'IM' incuse, and scratched '32.' Pendant of oval section, lower half enamelled with stripes of alternative white and light blue stripes, upper part plain, end of oval enamelled with white and blue lines. Gold stirrup bow.
CHATELAINE (A): Gold double chain with six enamel plaques, hook at each end. Chain with rectangular links between plaques. Plaques enamelled with white and light blue lines around chased centre with translucent orange enamel. Straight key with oval handle enamelled en suite with chain. Two bell shaped drops enamelled en suite with chain.
