Lever watch in multi-colour gold case, enamelled and set with diamonds.
MOVEMENT: Full plate movement scratched 'no 16693'. Balance bridge pierced and engraved, quartered design. Polished steel end piece with domed, light ruby end stone, and blued steel screws. Brass balance. Silver regulation dial engraved 'AVANCE' and 'RETARD', plain blued steel pointer. English jewelling to escape wheel. Plate scratched as above. Turned fusee iron post. Polished steel case bolt, curved angled end, nib under dial. Cock, on pillar plate, for bottom pivot of balance and lever. Pillar plate with four plain turned pillars, centre wheel recessed. Third wheel bridge (dial not removed). Fusee and chain, set up under dial, barrel with one fine lip. English lever escapement with jewelled pin. Train planted anti-clockwise.
HANDS: Gold, serpentine with heart shaped ends.
DIAL: Gold, raised edge over pillar plate, pinned into edge of plate. Engraved outer ring, line minute ring with diamond shapes at 5 minutes. Polished radial Roman chapters on matt background, inner polished ring, centre straight line engine turned (not removed).
CURVETTE: Plain with winding hole having anti-clockwise arrow engraved around it. Five marks caused by drilling of holes in back of case (?)
CASE: Multi-coloured gold set with diamonds. Cast (?) bezel, body and back. Bezel and back with applied flowers, all one colour. Bezel with ten small set diamonds. Body, one colour, floral frieze. Back with floral pattern, with outer ring having ten small set diamonds, ring of ten larger set diamonds, a further ring of five set diamonds around central set diamond. Spherical pendant with raised pattern, cast (?) round bow with a cast (?) raised pattern.
CHATELAINE (A): Multi-coloured gold. Pierced, hinged, clip with triangular maker's stamp 'AP' with standing bird between, second mark of uneven outline, but mark at bottom poor (?) animal head facing right (?). Paper label on back of clip, at top, inscribed 'CV / 362 / 52 10 0.' Top multi-coloured gold, plaque with outer drops on rectangular pierced link chain. Cast silver gilt (?) watch key with two diamonds set on each side. On end of left and cast silver gilt (?) seal with uncut agate (?) stone, to right. Centre drop of two plaques, same size and shape of decoration in centre of top with bar with safety hook for watch, three chains between each of three circular links.
