Cylinder watch in plain silver gilt inner case only
MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Justin Vulliamy LONDON ss.' Balance cock with ears next to neck. Symmetrically pierced and engraved table, mask on neck, foot pierced and engraved. Blued steel end piece, diamond end stone. Polished steel balance. Slide plate pierced, dragon indicator, engraved silver regulation disc with radial Arabic figures 5 to 30. Pierced fusee iron post (left hand end missing). Blued steel case bolt with pierced wings, sliding in pillar plate, nib at side. Plain potance with foot having moulding at end, screwed to plate. Pillar plate with four square section baluster pillars, third wheel bridge. The joint is a replacement, and does not fit the marks on the plate. Fusee and chain with tangent set-up under barrel, barrel with one lip. Cylinder escapement, brass wheel and steel cylinder. Train planted clockwise.
BRASS EDGE: Brass, gilt, three feet.
DIAL: White enamel on copper with three feet, radial Arabic 5 minute figures. Ladder minute ring. Dots each side of 5 minute lines. Radial Roman chapters, circle.
HANDS: Gold, heart shaped ends.
INNER CASE: Silver, gilt, plain. H.M London 1795 with Duty Mark, maker's mark 'TH' in rectangular cameo with cut corners. Bezel plain gold. Cylindrical pendant with one step, flat oval top with wide stirrup bow.
