MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Pre Regy BERLIN'. Balance cock with table pierced and engraved with ears, head engraved at neck. Foot pierced and engraved with irregular outer edge and straight edge against slide plate. Steel balance with wide rim. Slide plate, surrounding balance, pierced and engraved with free form edge, small silver regulation dial with radial Arabic figures 1 to 4. Top plate has circular engraved border with name in break. Pierced fusee iron post. Steel case bolt and spring with flat decorated foot. Potance and counter-potance riveted to plate, counter-potance inside contrate arbour. Pillar plate with four square section baluster pillars, centre wheel recessed. Third wheel bar. Verge escapement. Train planted clockwise. Split fusee and chain, set-up click under dial, barrel with two lips. Centre wheel extended for minute hand, hour wheel driven from wheel on split fusee arbour. Verge escapement. Train planted clockwise.
BRASS EDGE: Three feet, engraved surround for dial. Joint (replaced) riveted to brass edge (poor fit to pillar plate).
DIAL: Polychrome cloisonne and painted enamel dial on gold, three feet. White enamel chapter ring with painted black radial Roman chapters and 'crown' half-hour marks. Gold hour circle with translucent green half-hour gaps. Centre painted flowers, including variegated tulips, gold leaves and translucent green background.
CASE: Gilt metal body and polychrome cloisonne and painted enamel on gold, painted counter enamel, secured by crude internal brass ring. Back enamel cracked near pendant, where enamel back once had a pendant fitted. Body enamel of flowers, including variegated tulips, counter enamel painted with a scene of a lake with surrounding woods with three horsemen at bottom. Bezel missing. Gilt pendant with parallel stem, top ringed cheese and stirrup bow.
