Gold outer case
OUTER CASE: Plain gold outer case. Inside back with well worn London Assay marks for 1791 and maker's mark 'DQ' over 'C' or 'G' in close fitting outline, incuse 'H' under pendant, scratch mark near top of hinge 'RK4GC'. Plain back and bezel with thin moulding at split, two lines slightly in from dial opening. Inside bezel lion passant at hinge and scratch marks to left of lion 'yN' (?), 'ly' near lion, '1-17-0' near dial opening and (upside down) 'V/V-' to right of lion.
