Description

A valentine envelope of a white and silver embossed design which has been converted into a valentine card by affixing to the recto, on the central oval panel designed for the address, a chromolithograph of a putto carrying a cornucopia of pink roses. The chromolithograph is affixed in portrait orientation. Two mottoes on scrolls are affixed at upper and lower centre: 'FORGET ME NOT' and 'TO ONE I LOVE'. 'MEEK' is stamped onto the recto at lower left. The central envelope flap on the verso is pasted down. It is not known if there are any contents.
