Tray with fluted lobed rim. Hard-paste porcelain painted underglaze in blue, and overglaze red, and gold-violet wash , and gold. Circular with shallow, sloping, slightly fluted sides rising to a ten-sided lightly lobed rim. The flat central area is outlined by a wavy double outline, and painted with an aubergine spray with three fruit, two in underglaze blue wash and one in gold-violet and gold, with flowers and leaves. The sides are decorated with a border of twelve panels, six containing iris alternating with six containing a gilt flower head reserved in a fish scale ground in underglaze blue. The edges are gilt. The underside has four "pearls" alternating with four stylised flowers with four petals. The base has five spur marks. Sandy foot.
