Kneeling Angel
Kneeling angel, pair with M.11B-1991. Carved wood, gessoed, painted and gilded. Angel wears a diadem on its curly hair, and a long gown with a turned down collar and crossed straps at the front, one hanging down in front and other behind. The angel kneels on its right knee and supports a column on its left knee, holding it with its left hand. With its right hand it supports the top of a shield resting on the ground, which is painted with the Angel Gabriel.
