Soft-paste porcelain leaf dish, painted onglaze in iron-red, yellow, green, blue, and puce enamels and gilt. The dish is naturalistically moulded in the form of two overlapping cabbage leaves. It is painted in famille-rose style with two Chinese ladies and a boy chasing butterflies, a second boy standing by a marble table, and a white rabbit in the foreground. The wavy rim is edged with a gilt loop and dot border out-lined in iron-red.
