Soft-paste porcelain coffee cup, decorated underglaze in blue and gilt. The circular cup has deep ogival sides, spirally fluted and stands on a footring. The ear-shaped handle has an interior kick. The sides are gilt with three flower sprays, and the footring has a gilt band. A broad underglaze blue band round the inside of the rim is decorated with two zones of alternate dots and stars above a gilt arrowhead border. The back of the handle is decorated with a gilt leaf.
