Description

Soft-paste porcelain saucer, decorated with a central landscape medallion surrounded by floral sprays, underglaze in blue, onglaze in polychrome enamels and gilt.

Soft-paste porcelain saucer, decorated underglaze in blue, onglaze in polychrome enamels and gilding. Circular with fluted, rounded sides, standing on a footring. Painted with a central landscape medallion in coloured enamels within a gilt band and turquoise husk border, surrounded by three trailing floral sprays separated by butterflies. Round the rim there is a bright underglaze blue band decorated with a gilt chain link motif and edged below with gilt C-scrolls; above, there is a gilt dentil edging.
