Description

Soft-paste porcelain saucer, decorated underglaze in blue, onglaze with an exotic bird amid trees in polychrome enamels and gilt.

Soft-paste porcelain saucer, decorated underglaze in blue, onglaze in polychrome enamels and gilt. Circular with curved sides and footring. Underglaze blue round reserved with a central circular medallion containing an exotic bird in puce, lilac, yellow and iron-red, standing beside berried branches, framed by gilt rococo C-scrolls and short radiating lines. A gilt band encircles the rim.
