Description

Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, painted with a central floral spray surrounded by three scattered sprigs in polychrome enamels, and a little gold.

Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, painted in green, a little yellow, pale and dark pink, pale and dark purple, and iron-red, and a little gold. The teapot is of globular shape with a curved spout and ribbed loop handle. The shallow domed cover has an open flower knob with two leaves. The teapot is decorated on each side with a central floral spray surrounded by three scattered sprigs, with an iron-red loop and dot band round the neck; the spout and handle have a pink arrow head and trefoil separated by and flanked by graduated dots. The cover is decorated en suite with a gilt band round the rim, and the pink flower knob has a yellow centre and green leaves.
