Soft-paste porcelain tea bowl and saucer, transfer-printed with genre scenes in lilac enamel, and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain tea bowl and saucer, transfer-printed in lilac, and gilt. The circular teabowl has fluted sides, and is supported on a low foot ring. The saucer has fluted, out-turned sides. The tea bowl is transfer-printed with 'L'Amour' by Robert Hancock with 'Garden Statuary' on the reverse and a swan swimming on the interior, the rim with a gilt line border. The saucer is printed en suite with 'L'Amour'.
