Bone china, printed onglaze in black and painted in pink with 'Dolphin' pattern. Circular with wide rim and shallow well. In the centre there is a dolphin and waves; on the rim, wavy fronds of seaweed with starfish on the inside of it and spiral shells on the outside. The rim is encircled by a gilt band.
