Soft-paste porcelain figure of Juno standing with a peacock beside her, painted in enamels, and gilded

Soft-paste porcelain, slip-cast, lead-glazed, and painted in a little blue, turquoise, green, yellow, pink, flesh, red, pale and dark purple, two shades of brown, and bluish-grey enamels, and gilded. The unglazed underside has a large circular ventilation hole in the middle, and three patch-marks.

History note: Geneen, in the old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, from whom purchased for £33 10s. on 15 February, 1920 by dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
